In this episode of the AMI Interview, we spoke with one of our group managers, Kris Farkas, about his production team and the relationship they have with their customer. And naturally, we didn't forget to ask how he feels about AMI.
EH: Hello everyone, welcome to our AMI Interview. I'm sitting here today with Kris Farkas. Hello Kris, welcome.
KF: Hi Eli, thank you for inviting me.
EH: So Chris, tell me a little bit about yourself.
KF: So I've been working for RWS Moravia for the last 13 years. I started in 2006 as a localization lead, moved to a project manager role a couple of years
afterwards. And for the last 10 and a half years, I've been working as a group manager.
EH: And as a group manager, could you introduce production to our audience?
KF: Sure, I think that production can mean different things across the company. In our particular case, we've been working with our customer for the last 20 years, which enabled us to create a special relationship with them.
We actually are responsible for the end-to-end journey of the content from our customers, so from it's creation, to the localization, production, quality,
and to the publishing process, where the content goes to the public audience.
EH: Tell me, have you heard about AMI?
KF: Actually I have, yes.
EH: Okay, and how do you like it?
KF: I like it very much. We usually do some screening of some educational videos and after the video, we then talk about the key points, the messaging of the video, and we share some experiences that relate to the video which we encounter daily in our offices, so we are trying to help each other to do things better.
EH: Great, thank you for coming. Thank you for accepting.
EH: Thank you guys for watching. I will see you next time.
